Our IEYC curriculum is a thematic unit curriculum that utilizes diverse and interesting themes that capture students’ imagination and keeps key learning concepts exciting, attractive, and easily digestible. Within our thematic curriculum, there are seven key areas of learning.

Personal, Emotional, and Social Development
－自己、感情、社会性の発達－
Our school environment encourages the development of social and emotional skills through the development of positive relationships with others. Four Leaves adopts a cooperative team-based system where children learn to share, cooperate, collaborate, as well as assume personal responsibility for themselves, others, and their property.
他人との良好な関係を通じ、社会性や感性を育てるという環境づくりを大切にしています。誰かと共有すること、仲間と協力すること、責任感を身につけてもらうためにチームベースシステム取り入れています。
Communication and Language
－コミュニケーションと言語－
At Four Leaves children are encouraged to continually develop their communication skills. Children are provided a variety of opportunities to promote communication skills through stories, role-plays, collaborative learning projects, show and tell, and public speaking opportunities at school events and assemblies.
スクール行事での発表、Show and Tell、チームプロジェクト、ロールプレイ、ストーリーなど、様々なアクティビティを通して子ども達の持続的なコミュニケーションスキル成長の場を用意しています。
Mathematical Development
－数学知識の発達－
At Four Leaves we utilize a combination of thematic math manipulatives and practical role-plays to help children explore key mathematical concepts in fun, engaging, and rewarding ways. Children learn counting, addition, subtraction, shapes, measurements, and even how to tell time. Our Math program is also fully digitized, differentiated, and personalized to each student’s unique needs. It is also accessible on any device from anywhere in the world.
テーマに基づき、ブロックなど実際に手に取って動かせる物や、実地的なロールプレイなどを組み合わせることで取り組みやすく、楽しみながら算数の概念を学びます。
Understanding the World
－世の中を知る－
At Four Leaves we carefully guide children to help them have a clear understanding of the world around them. We assist them to explore their physical world, their community, and to take an interest in the people, places, technology, and environments surrounding them. Our goal is to develop global citizens with a deep respect of local and international culture and values, as well as an understanding and appreciation of diversity.
身の回りの出来事について明確に理解出来るよう導き、サポートしていきます。コミュニティーなどを散策する中で、自身を取り囲む様々な環境 – テクノロジー、場所、人々などに興味を持つ手助けをします。私たちの目標は、その土地や国際的な文化、価値に対して深い尊敬の念を持ち、更にその多様性を理解し感謝出来る国際人を育てることです。
Physical Development
－身体の発達－
At Four Leaves we believe in providing our children with a variety of experiences to physically develop their bodies. We have a deep belief in the benefits of outdoor play for our children, and provide ample opportunities for outdoor play and learning. We also believe in providing children with a variety of activities to develop their bodies and motor skills such as: obstacle courses, organized sports, kids’ yoga and dance, and even gardening!
Four Leavesでは子ども達の健やかな体づくりの為に様々な体験の場を提供していきたいと考えています。外遊びや、野外学習の時間をたっぷり与えることで得られる恩恵は非常に大きいと信じています。また、ガーデニング、キッズヨガ・ダンス、スポーツ、障害物コースなど、様々なアクティビティを通じ、子ども達の身体能力や手先の運動能力などを高めていきます。
Expressive Arts and Design
－表現力豊かなアートとデザイン－
At Four Leaves children are enabled to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials. They are also encouraged to share their ideas, thoughts, and feelings through a variety of activities such as art, music, movement, dance, role-play, design and technology. Children can explore and be creative with a range of resources and activities such as painting, construction toys, collage, clay, dough, and drawing. Their imaginations are also developed through extensive role-play and hands-on learning experiences.
Four Leavesでは、テクノロジーやデザイン、ロールプレイ、ダンス、音楽、表現、アートなど様々なアクティビティを通し、自分の感情、考え、アイディアなどを他人にシェアすることが奨励されます。お絵描き、粘土、コラージュ、おもちゃ作り、ペイントなどのアクティビティや多様なリソースを通して、探索し、クリエイティブになっていきます。幅広いアクティビティを楽しむ中で子ども達の探究心や想像力が刺激されていきます。
Literacy Development
－読解力の発達－
At Four Leaves we believe that literacy is the key foundation of all learning. With us children will learn and master letter recognition, phonics, spelling, reading, and writing. They will also gain exposure to basic grammar. All of our literacy materials at Four Leaves are level based, differentiated, and personalized to meet each of our student’s unique needs, so that we can ensure daily growth in their literacy. They are also fully digitized and can be accessed from any device from anywhere in the world!
読解能力は物事を学ぶ上での1番の基礎、要であると考えています。
Four Leavesでは、読み書き、綴り、フォニックス、文字の認識をマスターしていきます。また、基礎文法も身につきます。リテラシーで使う教材は全てレベル別となっており、個々のニーズに合わせることが可能で、子ども達の日々の読解力の発達を着実なものとしていきます。更に完全デジタル化により世界中どこにいてもどんなデバイスからでもアクセス頂けます。
