Are you eligible for free early childhood education and childcare?
- 幼児教育・保育の無償化の対象になりますか？

  • Four Leaves International School Tokyo is subject to the "Free Early Childhood Education and Childcare" system.
    Please contact your local government to find out if your family is eligible for a grant. Below is a link to the childcare fee subsidy system in Minato Ward.

When are new admissions accepted to the school?
- 入園時期はいつですか？

  • We accept admissions throughout the year.

  • 年中を通して入園を受け付けています。

My child is 1 year old, but can't walk yet. Can they enter the school?
- 1歳ですが、まだ歩けません。入園できますか？

  • 1 year old children may enter the school only when they are able to walk independently.

  • 1歳のお子様は、一人歩行が可能となった段階で入園可能となります。

My child is a beginner in English. Can they still enjoy lessons at the school?
- 英語初心者でも楽しく通えますか？

  • At FLIST we pay careful attention to ensure that all children can enjoy learning regardless of their current ability level. We specifically tailor and differentiate our learning materials so that each child can learn at their own pace with resources that match their current ability. We also keep class sizes small so that all students can receive the individualized attention that they need to learn, grow, and feel comfortable. Lastly, we provide students with a variety of learning materials so that they can continue their learning development even outside of the school.

  • FLISTでは、全てのお子様が楽しんでアクティビティにご参加いただけるように細心の注意を払っています。また、お友達のお家に遊びに行くような感覚でお子様も安心して通えるアットホームな雰囲気が他のスクールにはない魅力です。
    少人数制で、一人ひとりの年齢やレベル/状況を見ながらレッスンを行います。
    また、レッスン以外にお子様一人でも取り組める教材を提供しますので、ご家庭でも継続して学習が進められます。

Is it ok if parents cannot speak English?
- 保護者は英語が話せませんが大丈夫ですか？

  • FLIST offers full service in both English and Japanese. All essential school communication and documentation are bilingual.

  • ご安心ください。本校と保護者様のコミュニケーションは、全てバイリンガルで対応可能です。

Are the lessons conducted in English?
- レッスンは英語で行われますか？

  • All activities other than Japanese lessons will be conducted in English. Japanese lessons are provided once a day for 30 minutes for our Morning Sessions.

  • 日本語レッスン以外のアクティビティは全て英語で実施いたします。モーニングセッションでは、毎日30分を日本語レッスンの時間に当てておりますので、日本語が疎かになる心配もございません。

I am thinking of enrolling in an international school in the future. Is it possible to provide support such as preparing for entrance exams?
- 将来インターナショナルスクールへの入学を考えているのですが、受験対策などのサポートは可能ですか？

  • At FLIST we provide extensive support to both children and their parents to help to best prepare for successful admission to a school of your choice. We provide interview practice, assessment training, application support, and general knowledge on school application processes and the benefits of various types of schools.

  • 保護者様との面接対策や申請書類、また志望校に応じてお子様の英語力強化をサポートいたします。

If I take a break from the lesson, is it possible to transfer lessons?
- レッスンをお休みした場合は、振替可能ですか？

  • As a general rule, you can transfer within one week even if you are suddenly ill or have a day off due to family reasons.
    Conditions vary depending on the program you are participating in, so please contact us for details.

  • 急な体調不良やご家庭の都合によるお休みも原則1週間以内に振替可能です。
    ご参加のプログラムによって条件が異なりますので、詳細は本校までお問い合わせください。

Do you offer school lunch?
- スクールランチの提供はありますか？

  • Only students who participate in the core program (5 days a week) can be offered a school lunch upon request.
    Please contact us for further details.

  • コアプログラム(週5日)にご参加の生徒様に限り、ご要望によりスクールランチの提供が可能です。
    料金やアレルギー対応食につきましては本校までお問い合わせください。

Do you have a school bus?
- スクールバスはありますか？

  • We are sorry, but we do not currently offer a school bus.
    When you come, please use public transportation, or use your own car, bicycle, or walk.
    There is no private parking, but you can use the adjacent coin parking.
    If you come by bicycle, please use the bicycle parking space at the entrance of our school.

  • 申し訳ございませんが、現在スクールバスの提供はございません。
    お越しの際は、公共交通機関をご利用いただくか、自家用車・自転車・徒歩でお願い致します。
    専用の駐車場はございませんが、隣接のコインパーキングをご利用いただけます。
    自転車でお越しの際は、本校入口に駐輪スペースがございますのでご利用ください。

Is there a period when the school is closed for a long time, such as Golden Week and New Year holidays?
- GWや年末年始など、スクールが長期クローズする期間はありますか？

  • FLIST is open 12 months a year, but does close for certain holiday breaks.

I would like to leave a stroller, is there a place to put it?
- ベビーカーを置いていきたいのですが、置き場はありますか？

  • Yes. We will keep it at the entrance of our school.

  • はい。本校入口にてお預かりさせていただきます。
